In a small cabin, in the middle of nowhere, Pieter van Vliet started writing songs about thoughts, beings and disagreements.
When spring ended the first songs were finished in a wooden shack, in between trees, ants and deer. After half a year he started crawling up small stages, and after another half year he stood up and started to sing, scream and whisper his songs in everyone’s ears, accompanied by his instruments and a new name; “Port of Call.”
After yet another half year Minderbinder music got a copy of Pieter’s well received “Wooden shack Sessions” and started talking about releasing a well recorded EP called “For Those Who Mutter”. Fully packed with a trombone, euphonium, trumpet, guitar, mandolin, banjo and glockenspiel they started the recordings at Edo’s house, which are set to be released in September 2010.
Zodra iedereen zit, begint hij met zingen, zichzelf begeleidend op akoestisch gitaar. Het publiek wordt stil en luistert geboeid naar de kwetsbare liedjes. (3voor12: Triplex Festival)
