Pospolite Ruszenie has brought together musicians from two completely different musical worlds: that of rock, and that of early music. The band's line up comprises members of the cult band Open Folk and rock bands such as Illuminandi and Rumor. Their music fuses (hard) rock with mediaeval, renaissance and baroque music; a classic rock line-up is accompanied by musicians performing on replicas of period instruments. They use original Old Polish poetry for their lyrics.
The band released in 2011 their first EP - SWIEBODNOSC (the title comes from medieval song popular in XV century and means a generosity or a magnanimity) - oficially relased as split CD by Nocturnal Mass

The last months brought double appearance in big German Magazine Zillo Medieval (printed in 40.000 copies!)- in 06/2012 our song appeared on their CD compilation and in
08/2012 an article & intie followed as well.
We received also recommendations from plenty of other magazines :)
