Possum Hunters of America

TUB says that he will eat anything that does not eat him first, but he reminds folks that his nickname is due to his first instrument - the washtub bass. He now powerfully plays upright bass and electric bass, sings, and writes songs. He is a champion buck dancer and flat footer. When he is not performing or working in the family’s construction company, he is hunting, fishing, or four-wheeling. Along with Mala, Tub has performed at a variety of events and venues in over twenty states, placed in the top 25 on CMT’s CAN YOU DUET, and won Panolpy in 2008.
MALA sings and plays many instruments, including the guitar, fiddle, spoons, banjo, scrub board, mandolin, and piano. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree from Judson College and writes songs and several types of stories. She is an Alabama buck dance champion. She teaches dance and music lessons and works in the family’s business. Besides mother-henning Tub, she cares for a menagerie of animals – pot-bellied pigs, dogs, bunnies, etc. She is currently building a log cabin.
SOLOMON is an incredible drummer. He graduated from the Univeristy of Alabama in Huntsville with a music technology degree. His beautiful wife, whom he met at college, is also a musician and vocalist. He currently works a full-time job and earning his Master's degree. He is also "Papa" to an adorable son and daughter.
