Power Movement Project

Power Movement Project

BandRockReggae

Urban Funk Reggae group. Played more than 400 shows. 2nd album "Belief_Upon_Arrival_>>" has begun to sell rapidly. STRONG WILLED and EXTREMELY MOTIVATED to spread our original, creative vibe to the masses. We want nothing more than to be able tour and record nonstop.

Biography

Formed in early 2000, the idea behind Power Movement Project has been to set fire to negative influence throughout music that can not easily fit into one particular genre. Diverse musical backgrounds and a wide array of influences has helped the group bridge the gaps between Rock, Hip Hop, Funk & Reggae.

Over the past five years, the band has performed up and down the East Coast opening for National acts including Busta Rhymes, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Fishbone, Chuck Brown, Eek-A-Mouse, Sister Carol, SEV and Jimmies Chicken Shack. Television appearances include Fox Sports (Mobile Skatepark Series - 54321), Pepsi's Project X (WB50) and MTV's College Television Network.

Power Movement Project recently released their sophomore album, BELIEF_UPON_ARRIVAL_>>, which has begun to sell rapidly at shows, in stores and on the web. Now stationed in Central Florida, Power Movement Project introduces powerful new material. Be sure to catch a live PMP show, as their objectives are accomplished by destabilizing their crowds with an energetic set that is, undeniably, not to be missed.
