Bio

On the move from the beginning of his life, P Paul Star has turned his life into a progressive movement. Born to meager beginnings in Flint, Michigan, he has never stayed in one place very long. The one constant in his dynamic life is music, which once touched by the artist is transformed into something more. His introduction to various genres and artists early in life can be attributed to his vibrant talent. He describes his style as “Rock, Rhythm, and Soul sprinkled with rap” and refuses to stay loyal to one lane of music. My sound is derived from heavy hip hop, R&B, 80’s and 90’s popular culture to bring forth an eclectic array of lyricism, soul, and excitement!”

When asked how he considers himself, rapper or artist, Star laughs and says, “It’s not rap, its creation in action.” Every bit of an inventor, Star’s music is always full of an brilliant energy and composition. His style is inspired by the era of MCs and true lyrical expression. His music reflects a philosophy and technique where he has taken all of parts of music that are most appreciated and made them his own. Listen to any of his music and you will witness an inexpressible flair that makes him stand out as an artist. Although much of what he does is underground, he has a mainstream appeal. His style is so diverse that it extends past the social stigma of the new era of music.

P Paul Star is a muse of creativity and cannot be contained.
