Brilliant Postcore from Toronto. It has something of Rites Of Spring and Fugazi in uptempo mode, mixed with a lot of Drive Like Jehu. Pretty. (German translation by Google) - One Two XU
This band from Toronto pays homage to their 8 songs strong debut album the 90's Emocore which moves on the cusp of noise between the pillars Fugazi, Karate and Drive Like Jehu. Time snotty, sometimes punk, then again with verschrullten Schrammel (scrappy, poppy) guitar, dissonance is also a constant companion. The voice of the singer sounds then in some places after the organ of Rob Pennington / By The Grace Of God. A beautiful album for Sudelwetter (unfriendly weather). (German translation by Google) - Crossed Letters Zine

Bio
PRACTICE WIFE are a minimalist rock trio formed in Toronto, Ontario in January 2012 with Adam Veselisin: Drums, Steve Elliott: Bass, Vocals, and James Sullivan: Guitar, Vocals.
We listen to a lot of Mission Of Burma, The Jesus Lizard, Unwound, Polvo, Chavez, Shellac, Drive Like Jehu, The Wipers, Fugazi, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Hot Snakes and AC/DC. We like some contemporary music too - if it rocks.
Our guitars come from Florida.
Not all of our fans are over 40.
Not all of our songs are about work.
We have played a few shows in the United States: Chicago, Oakland, and the "UP" of Michigan. We have also played around Southern Ontario.
Don't ask what the fucking band name means.
We recorded our first LP "Routine Enthusiasm" at Electrical Audio Chicago in early 2015. With mastering by Bob Weston and cover art by Rick Froberg, this nifty little record was self-released in Fall of 2015.
