Prairie Dance Clubs music has been described as "Sonic Canadiana". This Langley quartets unique blend of alternative folk rock is grounded in timeless melody and has steadily been winning over listeners since the bands formation in the fall of 2007. Since that time they have completed a full length album as well as two 5 song EP's. Their latest release completed in March of 2013 was recorded at the world famous Mushroom/Hipposonic Studios in Vancouver BC.
In their short history, they have shared the stage with established and up-and-coming Canadian artists such as Tom Wilson and Lee Harvey Osmond, Matt Mays and Arkells.
Their music has been featured in "America's Next Top Model" as well as MTV's 16 and Pregnant. Their song Spring was also featured in the 2009 PBS series Road Trip Nation.
The band was also a top ten finalist in the Shore 104.3 Vancouver's Song Search competition in 2011.
