Bio
Born, and raised in Manning, South Carolina, SC, Derrick Conyers known as “Mr. Preach” began his singing career at the early age of ten. He continued to embrace the music scene throughout his high school years. He went from being the lead vocalist on the “Manning High School Chorus” to singing, producing, , and arranging for local choirs to becoming one of the lead vocalist for the Lionel Williams, and the Metropolitan Choir.
Mr. Preach sultry booming voice also led him to receive many professional performing gigs. He has opened for superstars acts such as the late Gerald Levert, the late Luther Vandross, Snoop Dogg, and also had the honor of sharing the stage with gospel great “Brian Wilson“. He has also collaborated with professional acts such as “Infinity Tha Ghetto Child” Wu- Tang member The late “Old Dirty Bastard”, and “Buddha Monk”.
Mr. Preach constantly spends most of his time in the studio writing, and producing his self titled “The Preacher Man” album. He is an artist with a huge following bringing soul back to R&B that’s been missing for so long. His voice has been compared to the late Gerald Levert, Jaheim, Teddy Pendergrass, and Otis Redding. Already making a name for himself in the music industry we plan to see Mr. Preach grace the air waves as soon as possible.
