“Precinct is the type of band that has been missing in the music scene, not only do they write meaningful lyrics, can remake cover songs into their own, they also put on a hell of a show, always a good time! For those of us old enough to remember those bands back in the day that always provided you with music that made you want to jump outta your seat and rock every time you seen them and you still wanted to pop the cd in when you got in the car..Precinct is THAT band!” - Rhonda Meredith The Examiner.com

Bio
Taylor, our lead singer started out singing country music and actually recorded an album in Nashville. He always wanted to try alternative rock and when we were looking for a vocalist he jumped right to it. Some of his influences are 3 Days Grace, The Used, and Alice in Chains. The J.R. our guitar player and Corey (bass), both came over from a alternative/rock band that diminished in July of 2009. The J.R has been in the music light for quite some time starting out in metal and then toning down a little to what you hear now. Corey is a self-taught bass player who played in the former band “Fairchild” then The J.R. picked him up for the former band “My Own I” before it split. Their influences are Metallica, Lamb of God, Breaking Benjamin, 3 Days Grace. Spank our drummer came from a metal back ground with influences from Pantera, Tool, Incubus, Muvayne, and Soulfly.
