Bio of Prezidental Tripz -
Known to his mother as King, his beloved aunt as Khie, and his family as King Khie, this Bronx native just wants you to call him Tripz. Born on Halloween in 1987, Keishaun Khie Harris immediately proved to be a treat rather than a trick to his family. Earning the name from numerous dice games where triplets were usually the result, Tripz opted for the positive route when he showed an interest in rhyming as a freshman in high school. Tripz has always been popular with the ladies so it was only right that a female friend gave him the nickname Tripzy and it stuck, only for the strict usage by the fairer sex. 2003 attempted to act as a roadblock for Tripz's budding music career as both his music partner V-Money and the aunt he highly favored lost their lives within a short time of each other. On his right arm, Tripz bears an image of his aunt and on his forearm "I'm still like the 1 train I ride with the nine" in dedication to his fallen friend.
Tripz pushed on and started his independent label 4EveRich ENT with the help of high school friend and fellow MC Wes Wicks in 2006. He traveled to Florida to attend college, seeking higher education as a fallback plan, and was determined to continue even after he was forced to pay out of pocket for all his expenses.
Nothing could prevent Tripz from accomplishing the goals he set for himself. He's appeared on BET's 106 & Park's Wild Out Wednesday competition, performed at over 150 shows throughout the North and South, and has garnered radio play on one of the most popular radio stations in the country, HOT97. Tripz even earned his BFA in Recording Arts & Music Business in 2009.
Keishaun Khie Harris, sees no task as daunting on the road to success. The moniker Prezidential Tripz was placed on him due to his leadership attributes and boss-like decision making skills. His ambition and tenacity matched with his clever lyrical wordplay is what sets him apart from other rappers, and it's only a matter of time before you know all of his names.
