Presidium

Presidium is an Orlando based rock band that is characterized by heavy hitting guitars, killer drums, and smooth melodic melodies. Presidium was formed in June of 2006 after the collapse of the popular local Orlando band Falling Through, by guitar players Bryant Ortiz and Dan Cowgill. The two then set out to form a band that had not only talent but personality. You have to have a connection with someone in order to make great music, its not all about putting the most talented musicians in a room together and saying GO!!!, it just doesn't work that way, said Cowgill.

Cowgill and Ortiz then enlisted the talents of Eric Short (vocals), Adrian Bravo (bass), and Dave Greenier (drums). With the band complete the five have worked rigorously in order to write music that can cut to the bone and evoke a message of positivity and hope. When asked about what it takes to write lyrics Eric stated Its about finding something that really means something to you and putting it down in words. Hopefully other people will find some meaning in the songs as well.

Presidium is a name that characterizes change and growth. The band is currently getting ready to take Orlando by storm. Presidium is also gearing up to record their yet to be titled debut EP, which should be out by the end of 2007.
