Preston's heart for worship and his ability to hear God's voice has given me the confidence I require to place him as a primary leader in our worship ministry. Bio
Though he is only 29 years old, Preston Coles has been a worship leader for over ten years. His passion and heart for God are reflected in both his songs and his lifestyle. In fact, Preston states his God-given life vision statement as this: "To facilitate life-changing encounters with God via the avenues of Praise and Worship, Pastoral Guidance, Biblical Counseling, and Acts of Service."
Preston's deepest desire is to see lives transformed by the presence of Almighty God. Leading others in genuine, heart-felt Praise and Worship is one way the Lord has used him to do just that.
In addition to being an anointed songwriter/musician, Preston is also trained as a minister and professional counselor. He holds two master's degrees from Regent University - Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Counseling - as well as a 15 hr Graduate-level Certificate of Worship Studies from the Integrity Worship Institute, based in Mobile, AL.
Preston currently serves as Care Groups Coordinator at a large church in Virginia Beach, VA where he oversees no less than 60 Care Groups and 1500 participating Care Group members. Still, Preston continues to remain active in leading worship at his own church and other churches and venues across the country. Preston also works as a Resident Professional Counselor at a major Christian counseling center in Virginia Beach, where he expresses his passion to see the Body of Christ emotionally healed and equipped for the ministry of the Lord.
Preston is married to his lovely wife, Sara, and has two young boys, Timothy and Ethan.
