Bio
Pretty Dulcie formed in 2010, consisting of female vocals, Keys, Guitar, Bass & Drums. The Band began creating its first sounds in the inviting and inspiring ambience of the Grand Ballroom in Rippon Lea, a place which still retains its sentimental significance in the band’s development.
This sound was almost instantaneously shaped & refined by the collective synergy of its members and is characterized by the infusion of subtle vocal inflections and tonal colours. The band exclusively performs its own material, which often alludes to influences of multiple genres.
After performing at various Music Festivals and Melbourne venues supporting local acts such as Bitter sweet kicks, Redcoats,Spencer P Jones & King of the North, the band will be releasing their debut self-titled EP in 2013 which is a testimony of its signature sound.
The band is propelled by an emotional and musical connection that is evident in its live performances.
