"HOT PRESS review"

'Got To Get You Outta My Life' by Pretty Ginger from Belfast starts off with wah-wah guitar style borrowed from the 'Crosstown Traffic' era of Hendrix and dollops of Cream. They've got that funk thang right through to their finger tips, and without singing in a Noo Yawk accent either. So its all the more disconcerting when the second track, the sinewy 'You've Got Me Where You Want' opens like David Bowie trying out an early Pink Floyd track before it cranks itself up. It has terrific vocals from Steve. They become a totally different band again 'Breakdown', opening with heavy Zep-like chords. Pretty Ginger have all the ingredients for a terrific band. - HOT PRESS

Bio

'The Ginger E.P.' is the third release from Belfast-based band Pretty Ginger, and their first live studio offering. Following on from their debut E.P. 'A View From The Middle', and the single 'Caravan Dogs', this latest record shows the band maturing and developing their sound. While retaining the sonically diverse elements that defined their earlier releases, the band has now added a more distinct, funky flavour to underpin their continuing strong emphasis on songwriting.
