Formed in 2010 & out of Canada's nation capital of Ottawa, Ontario, Pretty Little Death Machine; Ty Black (Vocals/Guitar) Matt Lepoidevin (Bass/Vocals) Matt "Tricky" Lamothe (Lead Guitar) & Ike McFaul (Drums) draw their influences from rock's greats & not so greats. After a slew of successful shows in their home base of Ottawa, the band decided to take their show on the road to neighboring cities Toronto & Montreal with a sound that blends rock with punk's ethic & sense of urgency. Loud distorted guitars, screaming vocals & huge drums are typical of the band and the energy they produce. They released their first offering, the 9 song LP "A Piece Of The Action" independently in December 2011 & received regular rotation on local college & internet radio stations with a tour of Canada's east coast the following spring of 2012. The band has recently been in the studio preparing for the release of their currently untitled sophomore album, to be released in early 2013.
