Bio

Former member of the Ann Arbor based hip-hop group Seven Tre Quad. Born in Ypsilanti but raised in Ann Arbor, (Ace Deuce) Michigan lyricist Trent Davis along with elder brother Kendall Davis (K-Money) began writing and recoding songs as early as 13 and 11 (respectively). They then grew up on the Westside of Ann Arbor (Pine Like City) in a single parent home in low income housing. Chrome Starr Records began in 1999 along with Eric Hall (Lil -E) and the recording continued quick, with three appearances on Chrome Starr Records first release: K-Money "Life in the Deuce Vol.1" (1999) at the age of 13.

In 2003 Seven Tre Quad was created along with Donell Mercer (Verbal Trintiy), Aareus Ashford (Mercury), Dillon Page (Young Fathah), Neal Glover (Apollo/Rook), Donovan Jenkins (Jukebox). Together "The Quad" performed numerous shows at the following: The Neutral Zone, The Michigan Theatre,The Blind Pig, The Underground (Sandusky, OH) Touchdown's Cafe, The Club Above (Hiedelburg), St. Andrews (Detroit), Theo's, Club Celebrity (Detroit), University of Michigan League, Live at PJ's, Cuttilian Club (Detroit) Studio 4 and many more...Opening for and collaborating with acts such as: Athletic Mic League, Buff1, Ahmad, Subterraneous, Illuminous 3, NowOn, One. Be. Lo., Hit-A-Lik Breadtouchaz (M. Dot, Young T), Belikos, P.L., Tree City, London Homicide, MadeMen ENT, Tenacity and S. A. of The Abolishionsts, J.Cope, DLux, Virtual Vertigo, 7Flamez, Dre Mac, Johnny Bizz, MC Serch, Big Herb, Andrew W. K, C-Hust, AQ, K.O.-7, Sofa King, Monstah Productions and many more!!... 2004's "Gilded City Kingz Mixtape" was followed by Prhyme's frist solo mixtape entitled "Minority Report: Mixtape Vol 1." Hosted By Prhyme Rhyme Boss (Vol. 1.5 Bonus Edition 500+ units). This classic mixtape helped generate area 'buzz' for the group as well as exposure. In 2006 K-Money released his second mixtape entitled "Southern Comfort" which displayed the groups versatility, remaking popular "down south" hits. Late august 2007, Prhyme then released "Minorty Report: The Mixtape Vol. 2 The Expiration", featuring only Verbal Trinity of Seven Tre Quad, along with bonus DVD, to medial sells which led to a discontinuation in production. Prhyme then released his third solo project entitled "Golden" along with producer Sofa King, Oct.28.2008 with a live listening party at Geechi Bleu Unique Boutique in downtown Ann Arbor. "Golden" would go on as the last project under Seven Tre Quad.
