Pride Lion

Reigning from Dayton, Ohio Michelle Byrd known as “Pride Lion” started her journey in music, at the age of eight. She started singing with her church choir and learned music through her middle school. Pride Lion pursued songwriting and intertwined her melody and aggressiveness to make a unique sound. She is a musician who is known for tapping into all genres of music. She is known as an “All around artist”. At the age of 16 she recorded her first song in her aunt’s basement in Dayton, Ohio. Being in and out of trouble at the age of 19 she was incarcerated for six years in Marysville, Ohio. She continued to make a way to become stronger in her music. She wrote music and performed in the prison with different talent shows the system provided at the time. Pride Lion left prison in 2013. She began recording with a fellow friend with an independent label “Jack Nation”. She soon left this label to pursue her own movement, today she is now not only an artist but she is an entrepreneur. Currently she is a part of her own independent label “Bamn Entertainment LLC” where she is partnered with her business partner Alza Scott. The entrepreneurship, determination and talent she has ,this is an artist that will not only deliver but conquer in this music business.
