Bio
Born out of C3 Auckland – a church renowned for raising some of the finest musicians and songwriters that Aotearoa has produced –Primalband follow in the footsteps of sing-along worship outfits like Form, Solace and Parachute Band while drawing fresh inspiration from Jimmy Eat World, Angels and Airwaves and Coldplay.
Regulars at C3 camps, conferences and events throughout the Pacific, the band serve in C3 and Primal Youth churches around Auckland and have steadily become the worship voice of the Primal Youth movement. Nominated for ‘Best Gospel/Christian Album’ at the 2009 NZ Music Awards, they’ve also become a fixture at Parachute Festival, bringing their wild flavour of worship to Mystery Creek’s Mainstage.
With their most recent release YOUR WAY enjoying solid airplay around the country, Primalband’s strong yearning to connect with God has translated into well-known songs and invitations to lead worship at youth events and churches all over New Zealand.
