Bio
Hard at work for several years, Primary Element has taken the long road to stay true to its art. The band has overcome many hurdles such as multiple line-up changes, burned down studios, and emotional up-sets. Having stuck with it they are ready to finally exhibit their innovative artwork in their debut album set to release this spring on the newly established indie label, Trailer Trash Records. Featuring the electro-acoustic composition expertise of James Harlow, guitarist Chris Bojorquez, drummer Jameson Lightbody and the newest member bassist Sean Daugherty, the band seeks to set a higher standard in music and ideology.
After their brief sabbatical from the stage in order to record, Primary Element is ready to rise from the ashes of its former self to reinvent the art of live performances. Professional showmanship, exquisite mastership of their instruments, and brilliant accuracy makes this band unforgettable in a live setting. Primary Element is no stranger to such venues as the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Soma San Diego, and Canes Bar & Grill, and Sea World San Diego. Influences of the band include artists who push the envelope, anthropological and sociological studies, the nature of man, and a little bit of whisky. The band’s sound has been compared to Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, and Tool.
