Primate 46 is an original rock band based out of Sarasota, Florida. The four piece band was formed in early 2003. The band roots itself on strong musicianship and excellent songwriting, creating intensity both on stage and in the studio. Comprised of two Americans, and two Brits, Primate 46s style is hard and melodic, strong both musically and vocally and explores many aspects of the rock genre. They have currently released one 14 track LP and a 4 track EP, both of which have been well received by audiences in the Tampa Bay area. As a result the band has begun to generate an ever growing following in their local music scene. With another full length LP in the works for the end of 2004, Primate 46 is working towards bringing their music to larger stages and larger audiences.
