Primitivesax is a technique that allows a solo musician to play electric guitar and saxophone simultaneously. The sound of the sax triggers overtones on the guitar, which are sustained using feedback, to create a drone. Digital delay is employed to create a collage of amplified sound.

Paul Haggis presents a dual musical personality.
On the one hand he is a singer songwriter, following in the tradition of Neil Young, and on the other he is the purveyor of primitivesax, a concept that pushes the boundaries of electroacoustic music and draws heavily on the influence of Miles Davis.
