Bio

With a name that alludes to royalty, Princeton’s domination in any arena seems inevitable. Blazing the Portland Trails all the way to Detroit, back to Portland, and back to Detroit again-Princeton has always seemed poised for take-over. And with the grooming of the country’s premier Artist Development Boot Camp, Princeton is a reminder that the future is upon us. At age 18, Princeton has already created a buzz of kingly magnitude off the strength of a two song demo that he promoted himself across the campus of Wayne State University, where he attends school on a music scholarship as a Music Business Major. But musical education came long before a college campus or even a classroom. Princeton early on had a passion for music. Influenced by his parents appreciation for a variety of artists ranging from the emotion espoused by Luther Vandross, the pop styling of Whitney Houston, and the Cooley High Harmony of Boys II Men. A fusion of classical training for the last seven years and the raw emotion and power of being a church and school choir member and soloist has transformed Princeton from just a singer to a true artist. Princeton has a sound that is genre bending, creating a core audience all his own, while alienating no one. Princeton has shared the stage as an opening act for major label artists like Detroit's own Teairra Mari’, Dolla, Day 26, and Trey Songz. He has also developed great industry relationships by writing and referencing songs for major recording artist Tre Songz, Sammie and Super Producer Troy Taylor. Having graced audiences for the NAACP, NBA, as well as several popular club, Princeton’s impressive resume will without a doubt keep getting longer. Currently signed to Star Factory Music Group, Princeton is currently being surveyed by several major record labels. Squeeze’s rigorous regional 10 state marketing plan will help Princeton create a major buzz through club play, radio play and internet promo. With a dynamic stage show featuring choreography from MTV’s ASiiD dance crew, Princeton is considered by many as one of the country’s top rated unsigned artists. With the realization of a life long dream at arms length, this is what Princeton has to say: "I've learned that in this business- you make a lot of friends and you learn to cut off a lot of friends. You have some good days and a lot of bad but either way, I wake up every morning thanking God for another day and for what he takes me through because they have only made me stronger." Spoken like a true prince.
