After graduating from school, Shen realized that adult life was quite mundane so he began writing music to cure his boredom. He began playing music with some friends and some strangers but none of these musical relationships lasted more than a few uninspired gigs.
Mary began playing drums after realizing she needed an outlet to take out her aggressions after a long day of work. She was looking for people to play with and Shen answered her Craigslist ad. They have been playing music and eating imported candy together ever since.
Prison Pretty's music can be aggressive and loud or soft and sentimental......many times within the confines of a single song. What do they sound like you may ask? Just take a listen and make your own judgements. Better yet, go see them live and escape your mundane life for a night. What else do you have to do? Watch Lost?
