Here are a few quotes
"The high energy antics of the Private Instigators are not to be missed."--PopPunk.com
"They're very much throwback rock n roll with a modern twist, and have one of the freshest sounds of any band I've met."--Jessa Rose, SiqScene
"...[T]he band produced a fury of music which had her (and everyone else) swingin' to the upbeat twitterpating guitar riffs and thundering percussion rhythms"--Southside On The Town -
Private Instigators, a 3-piece punk doo wop band as they offered a completely different style and sound compared to the other bands playing that night. Private Instigators had a oldies Doo-Wop feel along with the heavy punk rock feel to it. Not my usual sound but it was actually a very pleasant mix of music to hear together & a very unique genre of music that you typically do not see mixed together but the Private Instigators definitely proved that the mix up can happen & sound great! They're very much throwback rock n roll with a modern twist to them. They have a great stage presence and energy on stage that shows not only through their music but it shows within the crowd as they had the entire venue of Misfits fans moving to the pleasant mix of Doo-Wop & Punk music! Definitely a great direct support choice for the misfits.

Bio
How often have you walked through a supermarket or stood in an elevator and heard some smooth, corporate “rock” music quietly piped through the place? That’s the type of thing that drives Private Instigators up the proverbial wall. They say, “If it’s not loud, fast, and fun, it might be music, but it ain’t rock ‘n’ roll!” They feel there’s no point in playing rock ‘n’ roll softly or quietly. Their favorites didn’t, so why should they?
With one ear on Little Richard and the other on The Ramones, the Privates blast through a set of songs which lean heavily on 50s rock ‘n’ roll (Chuck Berry, Dion & The Belmonts, Bo Diddley) and the punk scene of New York City in the 70s (New York Dolls, Richard Hell & The Voidoids, Dead Boys). Songs about “rock ‘n’ roll or doin’ it (which are really the same thing)” are played at high volume and high speed, propelled by the frenetic drumming of Jeff Gonzales and hyperactive picking of guitarist Dominick Dolio. At the same time, bassist Keith Burman spits out the lyrics. The band officially formed in June of ‘12, when Keith (late of soul-rockers Keith and the Complications, who were called “The most rocking’ soul band you’ve never heard” by Gapers Block) joined Dominick and Jeff, long-time friends who had previously played together as Death by Mercury and as Sha-Boom!, but they’re already making quite a splash in the local scene.
Ready to tear up Texas and later the world!
