Bio
Performing on multiple sides of the artistic spectrum can be a tough and tiring task, but for actor/artist Drey "Pro Status" Wingate, it's the norm. With ten independent projects and counting to date, Pro continues to deliver substance and lyricism that has coined his sound the title, "real life music". Whether on stage or on set, his tireless work ethic is always on display, which is vital in today's carbon copy filled industry. Many lack originality, character and struggle to separate themselves from what 99% of what everyone else is doing, but Pro goes above and beyond to keep himself out of that number.
Prior to his career as an artist and actor, he played professional basketball for multiple minor and overseas leagues across the country from 2009-2013. After suffering an injury that caused him to miss an entire season, he used his recovery time to piece together what was next for him. Having a day one passion for writing, hip-hop, and film, he hit the ground running towards a different game with the same elite competition.
