Bio
Founded in the summer of '12 by some guys from school, Problem of Interest started out as a typical small-town garage punk band playing free shows in the drummer's distant country backyard for our friends, to a premiere classic rock cover band (with a mix of more modern hits and a few original tunes) playing for campgrounds, private parties, and festivals. From the upbeat sounds of songs like "Valerie" by Amy Winehouse and "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry, to the down-and-dirty rock hits including "I Hate Myself For Loving You" by Joan Jett and "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" by Journey, POI covers a broad spectrum of classic rock hits. Although the '70's and '80's occupies a majority of their cover song setlist, the young band also pays tribute to the modern hits of the '90's and 2000's with songs like "The Pretender" by Foo Fighters, and "1985" by Bowling for Soup. In early 2016 the band is currently spending lots of time in the studio writing more original music with plans to release their first EP. Through the years, Problem Of Interest has made significant progress and has high hopes for what the future brings.
