They're coming . . .with guitars, and no one will escape without catching rock and roll fever from this original rock and roll quartet. Every so often Problem Solving leaves their Philadelphia homes to come and stalk the local music venues and those of the surrounding areas. Fans are always left wanting more feel good music. With sets where they only stop to take a breath, change instruments, or bask in the shine of the love from old fans and new, Problem Solving always carries out their mission, to personally create an unforgettable rock and roll show. Their satiated audience has called them everything from indie rock to blues to sixty's pop to punk. With songs of every tempo and feel, the dissension among listeners is no surprise, but, unfamiliar with the standards of narrow genres, the band agrees that it's pure unadulterated Rock and Roll!

You: Are you all original music?
Problem Solving: We can play all originals for hours, but we like to dig into our treasure chest of songs from The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Wilco, Taj Mahal, Bob Dylan, The Sonics, and other memorable contributors to rock and roll music to mix it up for the audience and ourselves.
You: Where do you usually fall in the set?
Problem Solving: We've been playing for over 7 years all over Philadelphia and surrounding areas, the Khyber, The Grape Street Pub, Club 218, LaSalle University, and Tyler School of Art, just to name a varied few. Though the band frequently plays as an opening act, we've filled up a few headlining shows on weekends with our ever-growing fan base.
You: What is your inspiration?
Problem Solving: Everything inspires our lyrics from our everyday jobs to the classic mysteries of every artist over the past few centuries. Musically, each member of Problem Solving brings his own taste to the table, but all of us enjoy listening to and making rock and roll. In our music collections, you'll find The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Pavement, Yo La Tengo, Wilco, The Roots, The Byrds, Elliot Smith, The Band, and other artists from the well known to the obscure.
