Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my EPK. My name is Brian Vaughan but everyone calls me B-Rev. I would like to first tell you about myself and then Prodigal Sonz Productionz. I will make this short, sweet and to the point in hopes that you get an understanding of what I am doing in the Body of Christ.
I currently attend New Covenant Church in Hampton, VA, where I serve on the Men’s Ministry Leadership. I became a Christian on June 25, 2000; given a track at work one day called “This Is Your Life” and the rest is history. I am married to the most amazing and loving woman in the world - Khrystina and we have been married.... forever, and father to four children, ages 3 to 17.
My family and I moved to VA from St. Louis, my hometown (I miss home so much) with aspirations of good jobs. We ended up homeless for a year and a half, going from hotel to hotel, sleeping in our Jeep and even sometimes sleeping in empty houses. I will never forget that night when God taught me how to depend on Him instead of depending on man. Once we put our faith and trust in Him, He is faithful in keeping His promises of provision for His children. It has been a bumpy road and I would have it no other way because it taught me how to rely on Him in everything, just as I am now relying on Him to help lead the way through this music.
My desire for Prodigal Sonz Productionz is to share the Gospel of Christ through music. The mission is to work with Christian artists that seek to glorify God through music and to help reach the masses of those who do not know Jesus Christ. Our desire is to see Christian music taken to a whole new level. In making music, I bring an exciting blend of hip hop, R&B, jazz, and pop to the Christian music arena. My hope is to work with artists such as Crossmovement, Kj-52, G.R.I.T.S, T-Bone, DJ Official & others who are spreading the good news of Christ through music. I look forward to hear from you so that we may begin an exciting partnership in spreading God’s Word through music.
