PROJECT NEWTON

Based in Southern Ontario, Project Newton, comprising David Promane, James Daly, Pete Relewicz, Dana Bayley and Brad King, is a dynamic collaboration of musicians who seeks to compose and perform music that is innovative and diverse while maintaining mainstream market appeal. Led by Promane, who holds a master’s degree in music, and whose practical industry experience spans over a decade of live performing on national tours with Molson Canadian Rocks and quintessential artists such as Jeff Healy, April Wine and Sass Jordan, his approach is the culmination of his vast understanding to compose a hard-hitting repertoire that his bandmates execute onstage with fierce professional commitment and spirited magnetism. Although Project Newton’s sound is unparalleled, the effervescent group draws from the sonic works of their inspirations, including Pearl Jam, Big Wreck, Queen and Aerosmith. From the time of the band’s inception in 2008, the group continues to impress critics while never disappointing audiences, as their musical sophistication develops and their fanbase broadens.
