Originally released on cult underground label Nightbreed Records, ‘Encryption ‘ seethes with all the dark flowing lyricism and industrial ambience of Rammstein in mascara., but with a crunchy, Korn flavoured twist. Guitars, scrape, synths flow, and beats loop in one beautiful lightless melody. So, while Nu-metal may be past it’s prime and Goth metal may be as stale as a dried-up bottle of eyeliner, their offspring’s future looks bright.

Pro-jekt formed in 2000. Signed to Nightbreed Recordings in 2001. Released ground breaking album "Encryption" in 2002 to various acclaim including 4K's in Kerrang magazine and album of the month on Totalrock radio. Re-aligned it's formation in 2004 with new vocalist Mick Witham. Released eargerly awaited second album " Defiance " in March 2006. Have toured in UK, Italy, Finland, France and Belgium at alternative festivals - have supported Mortiis and The Last Rites ( ex Fields of Nephilim ) as well as headlined Carnival of Souls and appeared at Bloodstock 2005. The band has just shot 2 professional videos for Sky channel release and released a DVD featuring these plus a full professional 6 camera video shoot from " The Ocean " in London whilst supporting Mortiis in 2004.
For people who like Rammstein, Rob Zombie, The Sisters of Mercy, Paradise Lost and Depeche Mode.
Pro-jekt is currently writing material for their third album and will be touring in France, Finland, Germany, and Holland in the spring / summer of 2007 plus supports to " The Last Dance " and Deathstars in the UK.
