Prophetic

During the Autumn of 2005, a few local norwegian musicians gathered.
Bound by their love for bludgeoning riff’s and heavy music, their goal was simple;
To create Pure Jawbreaking Metal! Basically music by the standards they themselves had come to love.
Not bound by the usual and constricting rules of the different genras, these five individuals soon came into their own by mixing the most agressive and brutal
aspects of modern metal, while still keeping the melody an essential part of the groove.

Hailing from Norway, where metal always has been an integral part of it’s musical culture, has truly been a blessing for the five guys in Prophetic.
This background has given them a wide range of influences that they use in their own creative process. However, always aware of the difficulty breaking through in the world of music, they toiled.
Only through blood, sweat, tears and sheer determination did their efforts eventually pay off.

On February fourth 2008 their self financed debut release “Legacy of the Fallen” hit the streets.

Recorded and released without any financial help, and
under their own label, Prophetic have already proven themselves capable and hard working, and are now stretching their arms across the rest of Europe and America.
