Prop Joe

A Breath of Fresh Air This is commonly a term used when describing Prop Joe.

Born and raised in Brooklyn NY in the 80’s and 90’s before finishing his childhood in NC. Prop Joe is the end result of many different influences culturally and socially. Coining the term hip hop hybrid, Prop Joe has taken life experiences from living in the North and South as well as his experiences in the US military to give listeners a different view of the same picture, his own, he believes as long as you are yourself people are going to love you or hate you: an ideology seldom seen among many current hip hop artists.

Prop Joe co owns his own record label, MyHouse Ent., while hosting his own internet radio show that launched in November 2007 called the “Prop Joe Radio Show.” (www.propjoeradioshow.com) The Show airs live every sunday at 6pm est.

Prop Joe is currently touring cities in the southeast to include Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia with return performances in NY, PA, and DC to be added soon. Prop Joe writes, produces, composes, engineers, mixes, masters, and graphic designs all of his own work, photos and websites, has a business degree and is also a member of the popular Hood Hard Hitmakers run by DJ Aaries in Atlanta, Georgia, where the Roca wear endorsed DJ has given Prop Joe the opportunity to be apart of the I will Not Lose campaign through photo shoots and endorsements, not to mention the artists and producers he's worked with such as Omniscence (formerly signed to 3boyz from newark, a popular indie in the 90's), City Sid (production credits include the r&b group soul 4 real), Devour (former bad boy producer).
