Bio

Our influences include a multitude of lyricists spanning the 30 years of Hip Hop from all subsets of the genre. Our lyrical and musical influences range from Rakim, Method Man, and The Wu-Tang Clan, to Outkast and Goodie Mob, to Bone, to Common, and The Roots. We are different from many other Hip Hop bands because of our lyrical content. Over the years it seems that lyrical style and flow have been forgotten by many artists. We are true songwriting lyricists that like catchy beats and tracks to accompany our lyrics. We also are different than many artists due to the subject matter that we cover and the manner in which we cover it. We are socially conscious, but not preachy or hateful. We deal with touchy social subjects that are part of the everyday lives of all people. Although our backgrounds is based in the struggle to overcome poverty, our approach to life is applicable to all people. Prosody picks up where conscious Hip Hop left off a few years ago, and takes it to the next level. We take a thought provoking and philosophical approach to our songs, that leaves everyone that listens to them with a broader perspective on reality.
