Bio

The Hip Hop culture has been waiting for another
Anointed injection of substance that speaks to this generation.
‘Words of Life’ is what pervades throughout this hot
new album
Prolific rapper, songwriter and producer, Prosper, along
with his urban brigade known as God’s Plan Ministry
(GPM) are stellar performers. Their new release and live
performances transcend the entertainment arena and
captivates their audience by ministering to the whole
being - body, mind and spirit. More than just an artist and
entertainer, Prosper is sincere about his true calling,
which was not obvious to him while touring France and
Germany in 2000 with rising mainstream Rap group,
Technical Sense. Fresh off of signing a lucrative recording
contract with EMI and CeSoul Music, it took three car
crashes and a near death experience for Prosper to
acknowledge his wake up call and accept his divine
destiny.
In 2003, Patrick Prosper Laguerre started his life over and
formed GPM - a faith-based group of energetic musicians on a
mission to make a positive impact to the nations. Prosper &
GPM produce what they call – ‘Kingdom Music’ infused
with R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Reggae, and contemporary
Gospel music that speaks to every generation of music
lovers. Their presentation is partly influenced by award
winning artists such as: Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett, Canton
Jones, Busta Rhymes, The Fugees and the late Michael Jackson,
but what further motivates them is their uncompromising
message of eternal and abundant life.

Within five years as an independent artist, Prosper &
GPM have already shared the same stage at world class
events with some international and award winning
performers such as: Shirley Caesar, Wyclef Jean, Mavis
Staples, Kanye West, The Wailers, Akon, Papa San, Canton
Jones, Ricky Dillard and more.
Prosper whose wife has been diagnosed with cancer
was penned to inspire every listener to always
speak life regardless of circumstances. His Wife Melissa continues to be a huge source to the ministry as she managers, writes, and ministers on stage beside her husband.
