Bio
Proto is my Mother's Surname. It's greek and it means "first": I found it interesting to connect it to my music, electronica.
I'm italian, and I write english lyrics.
I've always been a huge fan of funk, rock and pop music: Prince is one of my biggest idols ever.
I love been tickled by the sound of a synthesizer, but even touched by a mellow note.
My music shows all this...and of course between the lines you can find my background too;
I'm a musical performer (I was in the original italian cast of "Rent" directed by Michael Grief and produced by Nicoletta Mantovani and Maestro Pavarotti), that's why the visual aspect of our shows is also important
I worked with dj Benny Benassi: I recorded, wrote songs, I performed and coreographed his live show (performances include "Top of the Pops" UK, KTU radio dance festival in NY, Energy Radio Festival in Moscow Russia).
In my band Stefano Marconi plays guitar and bass guitar, and Eros Loli plays drums.
