Prude Boys

Prude Boys started as a way to beat the blues of the harsh winter months that Michigan experiences. Caroline Myrick, Quennton Thornbury, and Connor Dodson (current bassist for Frontier Ruckus) would trade off playing each other's songs in an attic in Ann Arbor. They quickly decided that a band was nothing without a drummer and decided to enlist Sadie Sam to play for them. Sam had never played an instrument before thus it was easier to start off with a stand-up drum kit. Over time the quartet built a set list and sought to play live shows. Their first show was at a house party in Ypsilanti, MI under the moniker "Lost Boys" to dozens of people. Shortly after, Dodson left the group to pursue other endeavors, leaving the band as a trio.Over the next year the trio played over fifty shows with local acts a touring bands, including now successful Potty Mouth and West Coast band Is-Is, and record a six song EP. In November of 2013 the band hit the road and played through the Midwest and East Coast, hitting Columbus, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Lexington, and Chicago.
