Born Brian Lyttlejohn Ellis, Prynceton, known to close friends as Smooth, grew up living in some of the roughest situations available to the youth of America. His mother leaving when he was only 3 months and father, a chronic alcoholic and repeat felon, there wasn't much of a chance for success in this artist's life. Through everything he persevered though and despite the almost 15 years he gave to juvenile facilities, group homes, and foster agencies Prynceton has become a powerhouse in the indie music circuit. Fans and critics alike agree that his music isn't popular for having the hardest beats, the smoothest lyrics, or the catchiest hooks. Because even though this may be true it is the realness that comes through the speakers that attract listeners to Prynceton.
