Pryncez Dyce

Destiny Garcia, also known as Pryncez Dyce, is an 18-year-old Latin hip-hop artist from San Antonio, Texas. An unlikely place to produce hip-hop stars, but when rapper Dyce introduced her female like Missy Elliott southern slang, her only option was to move to a bigger city and music market. Soon after being quoted “the female South Park Mexican” by SA Urban magazine, she and her family picked up and moved to Houston, Texas. Dyce has placed seven years into endless venues and is well-known Southern Latin up and coming female artist with a strapping appeal to the 15-29 age male/female demographics of hip-hop genre listeners. Through artist development, she is able to combine the unique diversity of English and Spanish into a southern rap format. The large untapped Latin market is waiting for the publicity of a female such as this artist to step onto the scene.

The ultimate goal of this existing biography is to take Pryncez Dyce’s entertainment career to the next level, while proving the longevity and diversity she possesses as such a young artist. Ms. Dyce has released her second mixtape album entitled “REACTION” in April of 2010, entirely co-produced by herself, as well as producer Tony Mo. Her co-producer Tony Mo has an extensive portfolio and has produced other artists, such as Aaliyah and Destiny’s Child. Pryncez Dyce has a solid performance portfolio with five years of stage performances. She has recently undergone artist development through an A&R representative from Interscope Records.

On January 4, 1994, Destiny Garcia (P.D.) was born to two struggling parents residing in an area called Grayson on the East Side of San Antonio. It was a street-tough neighborhood where young Dyce lived in a small efficiny house with a soon to be single mother grasping her way out of an inner city gang. Dyce describes her childhood as “seeing the life of no money and a mother who was always hustling to feed her and her siblings.” By the time Dyce became a young teen, she was ready to speak about her life and bring to light the only thing she knew to cope, music. Music seemed like the only way to escape Dyce’s poverty.

Pryncez Dyce wrote and recorded her first track at the tender age of 11 with persistence in recording every written word she had placed in her torn notebook. She began co-producing tracks by the age of 11.5. By age 12, Ms. Dyce had recorded her first album with her manager/mom (Stephanie Garcia), who had taken on the role of Dyce’s business manager and opened the company Arsenal Productions. The first album was entitled “The Struggle.” An album with tracks consisting of past stories of the many life struggles they had overcome. The trials and tribulations became a strong foundation to pursue greater opportunities in the music industry for Ms. Dyce. At age 12, Pryncez Dyce exploded in the Underground Scene in her city and statewide performing for live audiences ranging from crowds of 10-500+. This young artist’s sound is full of live stage energy, brand capable, and is marketable to various markets with limitless possibilities. There are minimum to no females in the Latin hip-hop genre. At that, she is able to immediately capture audience’s attention instantly upon arrival on stage. Pryncez Dyce’s future goals include adding education to her ever growing music business knowledge, giving back to the community through mentor services for other teenagers interested in music, expanding travel to national areas for her fan-base following, larger performances with established artists, and becoming mainstream for audiences globally. Singles such as “I want it all” and “Reaction” have been highlighted accomplishments for her. She has also been recognized for “Diamond in the Back”, a track made for the nationally recognized Latin-based clothing line “PMM” (also known as Pink Mink Mafia).
