The Psalmstress,
Gwendolyn Fox is a God-inspired songwriter and
composer. New to the industry, she has already displayed her creativity, building a catalog of inspirational praise and worship songs glorifying the name of the Lord. When the Psalmstress is not creating she spends her time ministering along the East Coast to souls in need, giving motivational speeches and spiritual guidance by the sharing of her
testimony. As a wife, mother, business owner, and philanthropist.
Gwendolyn has seen her fair share of highs and lows, but through it all, she is always willing to share in her experiences with others.
One of her more notable experiences was her bout with 3rd stage terminal breast cancer. The cancer resulted in a mastectomy, but through this tumultuous time, which she termed as” Valley time", The Psalmstress continued to glorify God.
When speaking of her bout with cancer, she was quoted as saying "We cannot always be on top of the mountain at all times, we must know how it feels to be in the valley.
I believe that this was His way of letting me know that He is God on the mountain and God in the valley". Eventually, the Psalmstress would go on to transform her "Valley time" experiences into uplifting songs such as "He is Faithful' "America Proclaim God's Name" and "Awesome God".
Songs that inspire all who are experiencing their
own “valley time” to put their faith and trust in the Lord.
