It's good time Hip-Hop/Pop with an electronic edge called Sweater Rap.

They say the most effective way to see where you are going is to look back at where you’ve been. If this rings true with music then the Pseudo Rebels would be considered part history lesson and part prognosticators. With a sound influenced by four decades of hip-hop, and everything from modern electronic to classic motown, the Pseudo Rebels manage to produce cutting edge tracks that pay homage to the past, while giving the listener a clear view of music’s horizon. So it’s back to the future with the new style – “Sweater Rap”, resonating off the debut EP's “Shut Up & Party! side one & two”

Long time friends screen play writer (Don Porter - DP3) and entrepreneur (Bryan Barnes - B-NYCE)  started writing rhymes with each other after getting together to watch Lakers games. Inspired by good times and a sharp wit the party was started.

They brought in another long time friend, former Warner Bros/Machine Shop artist, touring bass player for Fat WreckChords artist Mad Caddies, producer and songwriter (Eric Palmquist - Too Billion) to write a track for one of their songs.

Very quickly it became a natural and exciting creative environment; they were hooked. Soon after they had an album's worth of material and brought Too Billion in again to produce the album and the Pseudo Rebels were born.

While organizing the release of the two EP's Pseudo Rebels have stuck their foot into the remixing world. In six short months the Pseudo Rebels YouTube channel has accumulated over 300,000 views! With the number of views snowballing to over 3,000 per day. It has proven to be a huge outlet for the group to show off their wit and excitement. This was doubled down by a highly successful Ustream.com performance at the FRA headquarters in October with fellow YouTube star Nicholi Favs where in an hour broadcast they attracted 9,000 unique viewers.

As "Shut Up & Party! - side one" releases December 8th 2009 the Pseudo Rebels have teamed up with the cutting edge FRA Agency to use new social medias as well as traditional models to introduce Pseudo Rebels to the world. On the day of the release the lead off single Shut Up & Party!'s viral music video will be featured on AOL music, Quicktime Player, and Windows Media Player. Pseudo Rebels can be found playing shows all over southern California and well has many more videos and online performances to come.

A little more about the individuals that are Pseudo Rebels:

First off is B-NYCE and whenever there’s a party, he’s the one turning the crank, and no matter what, you can forever count on B-NYCE to flash the freshest styles and the brightest smiles. With his love for old school hip-hop and insanely big bass beats he brings hype to spare with the Pseudo Rebels. Not only an exciting MC but also a talented vocalist who sings the melodies in the Pseudo Rebels songs.

The other half of the MC front of Pseudo Rebels is DP3 armed with a sharp wit and smooth stylings, DP3 is ready to get the show started. A devote study of underground hip-hop and possessing a tender place in his heart for catchy melodies, the vision of Pseudo Rebels pieced itself together inside his head. This fun loving MC always puts it all on the line when it comes to his craft.  Bringing excitement and good times are always a part of his game.

When B-Nyce and DP3 decided it was time to get in the studio they turned to long time friend, Too Billion. With an ear for an eclectic music, Too Billion went about the task of bringing life to the beats and ultimately the songs that would be Shut Up and Party. On stage you’ll see Too Billion bringing the party manning the command central controls.
