Bio
Heavily influenced by 70’s rock legends such as Humble Pie and Robin Trower, the band writes and performs original music that is heavily guitar dominated atop a rock solid drum and bass rhythm foundation. Guitar players R. Tuli and Chavez have refined their vintage tone over many years and it has become an essential part of their sound. The unique collective sound of Psychedelic Mooj (www.psychedelicmooj.com) has few rivals when it comes to raw energy and talent.
Formed in Chandler, Arizona, in 2005, Psychedelic Mooj evolved from playing amped-up traditional blues to become one of Arizona’s preeminent psychedelic blues jam bands. Founding members Ram Tuli, Richard Chavez, Dave Hull were joined by Ram’s 15-year old son, Will Tuli, in 2010 to record their third album, Analog Soup.
