Bio
Psycho Magnets was formed in 1999 Throughout the next 7 years the band graduated from playing strictly covers to adding their own originals. This change propelled the band to begin receiving many local awards such as winning Central Florida's "Battle of the Bands" contest and being voted "Best Band" by TEM magazine.
This climb in popularity meant bigger venues and bigger shows such as opening for Vince Neil of Motley Crue. The success of that show prompted the band to open up for the legendary Blue Oyster Cult. Psycho Magnets continued popularity and success brought opportunities to play shows with Bang Tango, Pretty Boy Floyd and Steven Pearcy of RATT. Psycho Magnets were privileged to have members from Bang Tango and Pretty Boy Floyd get on stage and jam with them.
With fan favorite original songs such as Scream, Feel It and Set Me Free, Psycho Magnets were anxious to get their debut CD recorded. a 5 song EP was release on March 5, 2009
Psycho Magnets are currently working on their latest CD effort which will be released early 2010. Be sure to join Psycho Magnets for a live show and a hard rockin good time.
