Today we’d like to introduce you to P The Homie.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I used to play basketball like most kids ball was life. Breaking my leg twice in college quickly shattered that for me. I left school after the second time breaking my leg and shorty just began writing in a notebook. Not raps though, more like poems. I ran into some people who were already on the music scene and they introduced me to a rapping. After hearing myself on the first recording I quickly fell in love with it. Hoping it could fill the void I now had from not being able to play ball anymore. I never stopped writing, everyday I’m writing at least a verse or a hook. I do it because I need to. It’s my life support.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve seen obstacle after obstacle ever since I started. But I figure that’s just apart of growing. Every obstacle, I’ve overcame with the guidance of Jesus and I’ve only became stronger because I’m not dead. I love obstacles. They excite me because it gives me “the express way” to getting to the next level. Take notes. (Wink)

What else should we know?
I’m known for making people feel more than listen. Music and life in general is a feeling process in my opinion. The ears can be deceived but not the heart. RRvibez is freedom. The RR stands for Richard Richland. The king.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The day I dropped my debut album “Fly High Rich” was my proudest moment for many reasons. 1. I’ve never heard of anyone dropping an album totally independently from conyers or anywhere near it. No labels, no manager, nobody in my ear, no big support, no nothing but a plan and obedience. And within a few months of even picking up the pen, I released my own album in honor of my friend.
