Formed in the summer of 2008 by Aleks as a result of unemployment and boredome, Puke for Breakfast started out as a one-man band, inspired by the dirty hardcore bands of the 80's. A 4 song demo was made with Oggy from Oggy and the Shitpukes taking on guest-vocals for "ADHD on Extacy".
In the end of 2008 Ivar joined forces on second guitar and backing vocals, and he and Aleks created the Puke for Breakfast sound as we know it today, taking inspirations from bands such as Poison Idea, Darkthrone and The Murder Junkies. Still just a two-man band, they were forced to use a crappy drum-machine, while Aleks handled the vocals, guitar and bass.
More material was written in 2009, and we got Sara in on the bass while Aleks gave away the vocal duties to Jolly from Dauden and Rage Against Bompenger. Then we kicked out the drum-machine and got Stine in on the drums, and finally Puke for Breakfast had a full line-up!
So come to our shows, mosh, thrash, break your bones and be prepared to get soaked in vomit!
