Prophet Child & B Anointed

Pure @ Heart is an independent Christian Record label specialized in taking the word of God and life’s issues, and ministering them through the medium of rap. Founded in August of 2003 by Brandon and Bryan Pope, they currently have two inspiring Gospel rap artists, Prophet Child and B Anointed, who are men after Gods’ heart. Pure @ Heart’s goal is to use Christian rap as a vehicle to reach the lost in a way that the church and other ministries are unable to. They have made their presence known at places such as; opening up for GRITS in Forte Wayne Indiana 2004, Switch Gear Entertainment’s talent showcase at the Du Sable Museum in Chicago, DePaul University, Columbia College, University of Illinois Chicago, Gospel Radio 1390, Club Judah, several churches throughout the Chicago land area, and several churches throughout the Southern Minnesota area. Pure @ Heart’s intentions are not to attempt to replace praise and worship, nor is it their intention to try to change the traditional church service. However, their intentions are to use Christian rap as a hook to get the attention of their generation, speaking life into them, reassuring them that they are not a product of their environment.
