Bio
Pure Flavor is a Detroit-area Blues/Rock Jamband that mixes powerful Groove with an improvisational approach. Pure flavor was formed in 1994 as a band that didn't want to do the same old thing, playing the songs that weren't on the radio and more importantly puting our own spin on them with improvisational jamming. Pure Flavor has enjoyed playing all over Michigan at everything from Bars, Music Venues, Festivals and Amphitheaters.
Recently known as Bender, we decided to bring back the name Pure Flavor when the music and style we were creating was very indicative of what Pure Flavor was and stood for. Here today, we keep pushing the music to new heights and continuing the legacy.
We combine driving rhythm, soulful singing, silky sweet keyboards and red-hot psychedelic guitar work to produce a sound that will carry you away. Our goal is to have a great time helping you to have a great time!
