The best kept secret in music

"Fans of metal variety will appreciate PH's effort on this album. Grooving, driving riffs and bold vocals that range from soothing to "pure in-your-freaking-face hatred".

The new stuff is fantastic!
You know, it sure is nice to hear something I can actually call Metal again. The songs Drowning in Insanity and Psyhchological impact are are perfect company for I, Wu, and Dichotomy.
After 3 days of commuting with the new Pure Hatred disc at 350 watts the rest of the stuff in my CD player just feels wrong.

Bio
The content of their music is specifically targeted to those people who realize that the world is shit. Man killing man, political corruption and corporate greed, religious right, child abuse, global warming, terrorism, the growing number of homeless and those below poverty, you get the idea. And yet people are expected to be “Politically Correct” in their day to day lives. Never do they have the opportunity to lash out or speak from their heart for fear of losing what little they do have.
The world is…in a word – “subdued”.
It’s been said that every action has an equal and opposite reaction…this is exactly where Pure Hatred comes from.
Pure Hatred is a self proclaimed “Thrash - Core” metal band hailing from Seattle, Washington. They take fundamental elements of the “east coast hardcore” sound and fuse them together with the “west coast thrash” sound. If you put Hatebreed, Anthrax and Pro-Pain in a blender… and then add some Slayer, Kreator and Megadeth to it, blending on high speed until smooth – you’d get Pure Hatred.
Spending 3 years gigging the local clubs, Pure Hatred earned enough money to construct its own rehearsal and recording facility, as well as the gear necessary to record their music. The next year and a half resulted in the production of their new mammoth 17 song CD titled “Choking on the Sweet Air of Freedom” – all without the aid of any label, management, merchandise or product.
Their style and sound can be attributed to their diverse locations growing up. Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado, Texas and Washington are all represented, with the like-minded individuals finding themselves together writing and playing the music they love from their Seattle base.
