Mark the date on your calendars -- Tuesday, Oct. 6. You won't want to miss this opening reception. And we are launching Influence Music Hall (2 doors down from the gallery at 135 3rd Ave.) with a new music group called Purplicious Love.
Purplicious Love is made up of two young guys, Charlie and Aaron; Charlie plays the electric djembe and sings; Aaron also plays the djembe as well as the guitar, drums and sings. Together they make music and entertain described as "theatrical jungle funk music; fluid dancing; crowd romancing and a spirit lifting ceremony.
They describe their music group, Purplicious Love, as the unexplainable feeling when hate no longer exists and absolute love is the only way. As Aaron said, "We're down to jam with anyone, anywhere, anytime. No egos. No preconceptions. That's what playing music is about. Just being creative and using whatever you've got. - The Oregonian
