Biography

PURPL PoP is a funktastic boombastic duo comprising
rapper/singer/songwriter/ Le’ Andre &
and producer/musician/super model Skoog from
Stockholm, Sweden. Le’Andre describes himself
as “A Better Looking 2010 Version of Charlie
Chaplin with the musical ear of Quincy Jones”
whilst Skoog claims to be “The Usain Bolt of music
production, the Bruce Willis of beat chopping,
The Che Guevara of pop”.
Le’Andre is 21 and loves girls!
Skoog is 27 and has a girlfriend!
Together they make REAL pop music, taking a little
chunk of the 80s, 90s, 2020s and creating the
sound that is PURPL PoP. While their sound is a
melting pot of both Le’ Andre and Skoog’s swaggering
life experiences and interests their biggest
influences are Jamiroquai, Prince, Dizzy Rascal
and Biggie. When asked to descibe their sound
sound they say “Imagine Prince, Brad Pitt, Public
Enemy and some crazy dude from Stockholm
then you’re getting close”.
Le’Andre loves to party!
Skoog loves to cook!
Together the difference in personalities causes a
chemical reaction best known to mankind as PURPL
PoP. The only way to keep that reaction under
control is getting into the nearest studio and allowing
PURPL PoP to provide musical eargasms!
Le’Andre plays football!
Skoog plays monopoly!
In the month since the release of video for ‘The
Way’, PURPL PoP have been booked to play festivals
all over Sweden, Chew the Fat! in London,
We Love... Space in Ibiza, Warsaw, Moscow, Cardiff,
Montreal, and Toronto. But most importantly
Le’Andre and Skoog signed 3 autographs at a local
supermarket in Stockholm
