PUSHBoX is a must see, three piece, take no prisoners ALT- ROCK band. Forget everything you know about rock music, They are the next big thing! In a time when hip-hop rules this band gives me hope for the future of rock-n-roll. PUSHBoX is fronted by the dangerous & gorgeous Georgia and backed by the equally resplendent and not so dangerous rhythm section of Michael Underpants and Patrick Cola. Trying to nail this band down to one sound is no easy task; they mix rock, folk and jazz into something larger, while Georgia puts a lyrical assault on your emotions. PUSHBoX transcends the invisible boundaries of popular music to encompass everything & everyone. Georgia plays lead guitar, piano and is the lyrical goddess behind the mic, writing emotionally charged lyrics with inviting, catchy melodies you cant help but sing along to. Georgia simply put has star quality that captivates audiences, Marinate that with Underpants funky bass lines and Colas hypnotic grooves and you get a rockin destructive attitude with pop grooves.
PUSHBoX is a fervent touring Band that has played all cities and venues on the west coast. They have been most recently showcased at ROCKRGRL music conference as well as many others. Seeing PUSHBoX live is a hair flying, energetic experience that youve never dreamed of. Georgia dances a fine line between overt eroticism and covert sensuality. PUSHBoX keeps things loose & moving & their music is contagious to both the ears & feet; squeezing every ounce of emotion from their souls during their live performances. The three of them formed a box in late April 2002 and with great camaraderie, song proficiency & diversity PUSHBoX will be around along time.
